Dilip Kumar Jaiswal is assistant professor in Sanskrit Department, Vivekananda College, Delhi University, Delhi. His area of interest is intellectual history of ancient Indian past. His interest also comprises exploration of ecological thought in Sanskrit classics. He did an extensive study of Indian Philosophy. Simultaneously, he got an exposure for modern European thinkers especially of Germany and France. He gave a presentation at the University of Massachusetts, USA on the psychological dimensions of Indian classical text, esp. of Upnishda. He extends his research interest in multidisciplinary area where history, literature, psychology, philosophy and ecology amalgamate and interface. He is also an efficient translator and did major translation projects with reputed institutions and universities like IGNOU.
